Crisis Support (Please Read First)
If you are in immediate danger or experiencing a mental health emergency, please call 911 or go to your nearest emergency room. You can also contact the Suicide & Crisis Lifeline by calling or texting 988, which is available 24/7 for immediate support.
If something in your life feels heavy, confusing, stuck, or overwhelming, therapy can help. You don’t need to be in crisis or have everything figured out. Many people begin therapy because they want more clarity, support, or emotional space.
A complimentary consultation is a free 15-minute conversation where we can briefly connect, talk about what you’re looking for, and answer any initial questions. It’s an opportunity to see if our approach feels like a good fit before scheduling a full session. There’s no pressure or obligation—just a chance to explore next steps together.
We work with concerns such as anxiety, depression, stress, trauma, relationship challenges, life transitions, identity exploration, and emotional burnout. If you’re unsure whether your concern fits, you’re welcome to reach out and ask.
No. A diagnosis is not required to begin therapy. Our work can focus on your lived experience, goals, and inner world—not just labels. While diagnosis is necessary for billing insurance.
The first session is a chance to get to know each other. We’ll talk about what brings you in, what you’re hoping for, and any questions you have. There’s no pressure to share more than you’re ready to. Taking time to get to know each other is part of the process of building safety.
Appointments can be scheduled by contacting us through the website, email, or phone. We’ll follow up with next steps and available times.
The Therapy Process
Our approach is collaborative, compassionate, and tailored to each client. We integrate evidence-based practices with depth-oriented and relational work, exploring both practical tools and deeper patterns when helpful.
Therapy looks different for everyone. Some people come for short-term support around a specific concern, while others choose longer-term work. We regularly check in to ensure therapy is meeting your needs.
Most clients meet weekly or biweekly. Together, we’ll decide what feels supportive and sustainable. When you begin therapy, higher frequency and consistency can be quite helpful.
Sessions are conversational and reflective. We may explore current challenges, emotions, patterns, or past experiences. Some sessions feel grounding and supportive; others may feel deeper or more exploratory.
That’s completely okay. Many people feel this way. We help guide the session and work together to identify what feels most important to explore.
Practical & Financial Questions
We currently accept the following insurance: Blue Cross Blue Shield, Aetna, and United Health Care. We are happy to bill the insurance for you. We also encourage people to contact their insurance and understand their benefits. This included deductibles and co-pays.
Session fees are discussed openly before beginning therapy so there are no surprises. Our private-pay fees range from $150.00-$185.00 per clinical hour.
A clinical hour is 50 minutes. This allows for the remaining ten minutes to be designated to completion of documentation to support your ongoing care.
We do not currently offer sliding scale options.
We ask for at least 24 hours’ notice for cancellations or rescheduling. Late cancellations will be charged the full session fee.
Payment is typically made electronically at the time of the session. Accepted payment methods will be discussed during scheduling.

Fit & Relationship
Feeling comfortable and understood matters. Many people get a sense from the website or the first session. You’re encouraged to trust your instincts and ask questions.
That’s okay—and it happens. Therapy works best when there’s a good fit. We’re happy to help with referrals if another provider feels like a better match.
